Foreword: with the name App, application or software I mean XMPGenerator App.
This policy may change due to the implementation of new features for the application. If you don't agree with this policy, you shall uninstall the application from your devices.

What it is: XMPGenerator App is a instrument born with the aim of make possible the generation of the XMP file directly from your smartphone.
The application uses the APIs of the XMPGenerator website in order to generate the XMP file required by the App.

Generation of XMP file: it is mandatory filling all the fields of the module (file name, title, description, keywords list and XMP type).
A Internet connection is needed because the App shall communicate with the XMPGenerator website. Without a Internet connection, it won't be possible to get the XMP file.
At the user's will, he/she can command to send the XMP file by email. That email address will not recorded anywhere and it will not used for any other purpose different than shipping the XMP file.

Advertisement: the application is downloadable for free and it contains advertisement.
For the Windows version, the banners are managed by Microsoft through the Microsoft Advertising library. For more information please visit the website https://advertising.microsoft.com.
For the Android version, the banners are managed by Google through the AdMob service. For more information please visit the website https://www.google.com/admob.

Use: during the use of the App, I reserve one's right to gather some data about your device. This data is gathered in anonimus form and it includes the Operative System, the number of sessions, the Country where you are, the version of the application and the signals of crash.
Your IP address and the data used for generate the XMP file (file name, title, description, keywords list and the XMP type) are recorded for log purpose in a database of the XMPGenerator website. This data is preserved for 30 days maximum, beyond which it will removed from the database.
All this information is important in order to monitoring and improving the App's behavior and act promptly in case of bug.

Backup: no backup is done for the XMP file generated with the application. The backup of the XMP file is charged to the user.

Security: the information provided for generating the XMP file and the data gathered for log purpose (see paragraph Use) are not divulged to third parties. The email address provided (when you want to receive the XMP file by email) is not recorded anywhere.

Responsibility: I am not responsible for any content or for any bad usage of the XMP file generated by the software.
I am not responsible for any email not received (shipping of XMP file by email).
In general, I am not responsible for any damage to things or people during the application usage.
